"A wine of understated finesse, the 2013 Larigi is super-expressive. The flavors are bright and focused throughout, lending considerable aromatic lift to the red cherry, plum and stone fruit flavors. In 2013, Larigi is quite understated and pretty, with plenty of potential for the future. I have seen the Larigi blossom in bottle in quiet vintages like this one. And that is what will happen here. The succulent finish is especially appealing here. Hints of lavender, violets and sweet spices add the closing shades of nuance. The 2013 spent 86 hours on the skins.
