Elio Altare, Langhe rosso doc La Villa 2022

Der Cuvée aus 60% Barbera und 40% Nebbiolo zeigt eine großartige Feinheit und Seidigkeit. Der LA Villa liegt in seiner Gesamtheit genau zwischen den Barbera Larigi und den Nebbiolo Arborina. 
In der Nase sind die Fruchtnoten eher von der Barbera: Noten von Pfirsich, Aprikose, dazu Veilchen, Lakritze und Minze. Im Geschmack kommen die Seidigkeit, Feinheit und Gerbstoff vom Nebbiolo.
Der Wein ist ewig lang am Gaumen. Die Tannine und das Holz sind sanft, seidig und gut angebunden, fast nicht spürbar.

Again, we're looking at a 15% alcohol content, which is quite strong, but the wine has the fruit succulence and the power to match that alcohol.
